Rates are references, not quotes
Daily reference rates come from Frankfurter and may differ from the rate a bank, card network or transfer provider offers you. They exclude spreads, fees and taxes. Check your provider’s rate and the amount the recipient receives before you exchange money.
Past movements and simulations
Charts and the cash simulator describe historical exchange-rate movement. They exclude interest, asset returns, inflation, tax and leverage, and past movement does not indicate future results. Example costs are assumptions, not provider quotes.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim to be accurate and cite primary sources, but content is prepared with AI assistance and can contain errors or become out of date. Send a correction with a primary source. See the methodology for how data is handled.
