- 1999 From October the Banque du Liban intervenes to keep the pound around a mid-point parity of 1,507.5 per US dollar, which the IMF describes as a de facto peg.
- 2023 In February the official rate is moved from 1,507.5 to 15,000 Lebanese pounds per US dollar.
